3DS Price Point HInted At

Iwata hints at 3DS price point in an interview:

“I have to refrain from talking specifically about the price point. What I can confirm is that, in terms of the production costs, it will cost more than the costs for the Nintendo DS today. Having said that, we believe we will produce enough value worthy of the production cost. We do not think we have to sell the products below cost.”.

Iwata Talks 3D, 3DS Supplies and Sweet Spots

In another interview, Iwata mentions how NIntendo has been “toiling” with 3D for years. He also gives away to how supplies in the past for consoles and handhelds have run into troubles, but that with the 3DS, “everything seems to go according to plan.” Lastly, he was asked about if the sweet spot of the 3D screen was a problem, and he responded by saying that they have tested games on it and have gotten the sweet spot of the screen “within the acceptable range.”

The Skyward Sword Pushed Back

It was made known at E3 that the the newest Zelda game for Wii was pushed back due to the art style, but it came up again in an interview with Miyamoto. Besides the art style, the quality of the game wants to be ensured by Miyamoto, as always, so a 2011 release is needed and wanted y the company.
