Two Tribes has tweeted that Toki Tori 2 has officially been approved for eShop release by Nintendo after successfully passing its quality control testing. The developer had previously announced the April 4 date but had not yet received the go-ahead from Nintendo.
Toki Tori 2 is of course the sequel to Toki Tori, a platformer starring a cute baby chicken that started life on Game Boy Color before getting an updated port on WiiWare. With the release date officially confirmed, the only question that remains is how much the title will cost.
