It looks as though yesterday’s leak from Amazon was at least correct concerning one thing– Square Enix has announced that Deus Ex: Human Revolution — The Director’s Cut will be released on the Wii U later this year.

The Director’s Cut will not be like the other versions of Human Revolution. This one will be catered to the controls of the Wii U GamePad. Some mechanics included in the game are touchscreen hacking, grenade throwbacks, and interactive map editing, among others. Along with this, the boss fights have been overhauled, but no word yet on how exactly they’ve been changed. There will also be a Miiverse integration included with in-game guides and developer commentaries.

Unlike the Amazon leak, which gave a release date of May 7, there is not official set date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution — The Director’s Cut, so keep your eyes peeled for more info.
