Warner Bros. has failed to mention the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us when announcing DLC packs for the fighting game. Unfortunately, this may be taken as implicit confirmation that said pack will not be making its way to Nintendo’s console.
Reasons for the decision are easy to speculate on, but the most likely cause is the belief that sales of the game on Wii U were not sufficient to make it cost-effective to port over the downloadable content. This announcement is a shame for Nintendo considering it’s had quite a bit of difficulty regarding console sales recently, and missing out on a reasonably high-profile piece of content from a major studio will be a further blow.
