While Nintendo didn’t have a whole lot of news coming out of San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, the company did announce that both NES Remix titles are receiving a physical release in North America this winter. The combined titles will be known as NES Remix Pack when they arrive in stores this holiday season. Nintendo has also clarified that Super Luigi Bros., which originally came with the digital download of NES Remix 2, is also included on the game’s disc.

The news certainly should be interesting for those who have yet to redeem their Elite Status reward from Club Nintendo. Fans of physical releases might want to hold off on ordering the first NES Remix in anticipation of NES Remix Pack. Japan also received a physical release of the dual titles earlier this year.

Stay tuned to Nintendojo where we’ll have more information on NES Remix Pack, including price and box art, as its release date approaches. In the meantime, let us know in the comments below if you plan on holding out for the game’s physical release!

Oooh, this is finally on my radar for a purchase. Or better yet, a Chistmas gift. It looks like Nintendo will have much better shelf presence come this holiday season.

I’m sure we probably posted this somewhere already, but Wii Sports Club is out in disc form with all five sports. Totally snagging this!! It’s perfect for those who might have a stuffed hard drive and haven’t been able to download all the sports (I looked in the mirror and shed a tear as I typed that).

Awesome. Right after I got it as my platinum gift. I’ll probably skip this and just download the second edition, even though I prefer physical media.
