According to NPD Group’s January 2017 report, the NES Classic Edition was the third best-selling console of the month, outpacing Wii U sales. While it may not come as a surprise that, with 1.5 million units sold globally, the NES Classic would outsell Nintendo’s current home console that is on its way out, it is a bit surprising that it managed to snag the third spot on the list, given how hard it has been for most people to buy one in stores or online.

For those of you that haven’t yet managed to snag the elusive device, are you still holding out hope that you’ll be able to get one? Let us know below!

I’m keeping watch on Amazon and the price seems to bottom out between $120-$150. I won’t buy until it’sbackdown to $60. No one else seems to have them (for a reasonable price). I’m wondering if Nintendo’s still making them anymore.
