Mother Brain Makes an Appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS

The Metroid boss will be appearing as an Assist Trophy in the upcoming fighting games.

The roster of fighters in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS has been gradually increasing with each passing week, but they’re not the only characters who’ll be appearing in the games; in addition to Skull Kid, we now know that Mother Brain will also be featured in the next Smash Bros. titles as an Assist Trophy!

Masahiro Sakurai, the director of the mascot brawlers, posted the following screenshot on Miiverse as part of his daily Smash Bros. updates, revealing that the infamous Metroid boss will be a summonable character in the upcoming games:
