Ed Boon, creator of the Mortal Kombat series, recently made an appearance at The Game Awards 2018 and announced that Mortal Kombat 11 is coming April 23, 2019, and it will be on Nintendo Switch.

You can check out the super brutal launch trailer below:

The game will include ‘Custom Character Variations’, which give players the ability to customize fighters. It will see the return of classic fighters — or rather, Klassic Fighters — as well as new ones and WB Games is promising a continuation of their “best in class cinematic story mode.” It’s also being made with a new graphics engine and if the gameplay looks anything like the incredible trailer, it’s sure to be gorgeous.

Will you be picking up Mortal Kombat 11 on Switch when it releases next April?
