With the worldwide release of Splatoon rapidly approaching, more retailer incentives are starting to trickle in. The most recent Nintendo Direct revealed that GameStop is offering Super Smash Bros. DLC for those who pre-order Splatoon at participating locations, but two other major retailers have announced some incentives of their own!
Toys R Us is offering a nice Amiibo-related incentive: gamers that pre-order Splatoon can get any Amiibo figure for $5 when they pick up the game. Not to be outdone, Target is also offering up an incentive for picking up the game in their stores: an exclusive Splatoon water gun!
No matter what retailer they choose, fans will certainly have a number of great options when Splatoon releases on Friday May 29.

I’m about the only person who doesn’t play Smash; I have every amiibo I want; water guns are awesome. I’ll be running to Target, then.
I love Smash, but the Amiibo deal made me change my pre-order. I know I’d use that DLC one time at most.
