Sega Genesis Mini is coming to North America on September 19 (with our Euro friends getting Sega Mega Drive Mini on the same day!) and the hype train is officially chugging along. Ten, count ’em ten more games have been revealed for the system— here’s the official word from Sega itself:

It’s time to run and jump our way to the next lineup of timeless classics making their way to the SEGA Genesis Mini with some of the biggest characters in video game history.SEGA Genesis Mini, Starring:The GROOVY! worm himself, Earthworm Jim!Sonic’s BFF, Tails, in his debut performance, in Sonic the Hedgehog 2!The one and only, Mickey Mouse, in two classically-animated games, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, each with their own beloved casts of characters.

This brings the total number of games revealed so far to 20 (check out the other ten, here). Sega seems intent on making up for the lackluster offerings of hardware manufacturers like AtGames in the past. With developer M2 on emulation duties, Sega Genesis Mini might very well become the premier retro console on the market.
