What was once rumor is now excitingly factual; Disney Infinity will soon be playing host to a bevy of Marvel characters. The hit new video game series features sets of toys that can be imported into the game itself, much like Activision’s Skylanders series.
While Disney had previously been coy about confirming that Marvel’s pantheon of heroes would be joining the fray, it was made official in a recent announcement trailer. The trailer itself, which you can check out at the link below, doesn’t actually show which of the Marvel characters will be appearing, but the safe bet is they will be rendered in the style of the other Infinity toys. This is the first time that Marvel and Disney characters will be sharing space with one another in a video game, which this writer is still getting used to. There’s no release date as of yet, but keep your eyes on Nintendojo as we will update once we know!
