More Amiibo on the way.

February 13 is quite possibly one of the busiest release days Nintendo has ever had. So, it would be really easy to miss lesser things like the launch of  the official Japanese Mario Party 10 website. I mean, who cares about that, when you can play The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, am I right? With that being said, the launch of the website turned out to be more interesting than expected, as it accidentally revealed new Amiibo designs for Wario, Rosalina, and Donkey Kong.

At this point, it is still not clear whether or not these designs will be a part of the Super Mario Bros. Amiibo range or perhaps a separate Mario Party 10 line.

Don’t you just love accidental reveals?

It looks like they’re learning that having an amiibo’s feet planted on the base is a lot better design structure.

Since the Mario Party lineup is a bit bigger than originally announced, I wonder if Waluigi is going to get an amiibo. I’d preorder him in a heartbeat.

I’m with you. I never understood having the support piece, rather than just designing the figures with flat feet. Rosalina should make fans of the character happy, given the toy’s rarity.
