One of the many new, exciting features introduced in Mario Kart 8 was the ability to upload clips of your best racing to YouTube and share them with the world. While the feature won’t be going anywhere, the website that compiled the best of the best isn’t long for this world.
On April 4, 2016, the website will be closing down, but that doesn’t mean the option to share your experiences is going away. The sharing options and the ability to view other people’s clip within Mario Kart 8 itself will still be available, it is just the official website for viewing those videos, stats, and other updates that is being shuttered.
While this news might be somewhat inconvenient for some, I imagine most people won’t mind having another excuse to boot up Mario Kart 8.
