This time, Batman, Harry Potter and Gandalf couldn’t save the day.

Things have been a bit rough of late for toys-to-life games. While Nintendo’s Amiibo line continues to sell, the death of Disney Infinity seemed to point to troubling times for the once-lucrative game genre. Now, Lego Dimensions has officially come to an end, as well. Warner Bros. released a statement this afternoon confirming as such.

Sadly, the news isn’t all that surprising. While the Skylanders franchise quickly made the jump to Switch, Lego Dimensions never made it to the platform, making it the only current generation system without the game (it released on Wii U, however). The company released a new wave of figures just a few short weeks ago, but it was telling that no future expansions had yet been announced.

Though the news will certainly come as a disappointment to fans, this is far from the end for Lego games. Switch is already home to a number of other Lego titles, and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is set for release on the platform next month.
