Publisher Little Orbit announced today that a pair of titles based on the popular Kung Fu Panda films is on the way to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. While some gamers are quick to dismiss licensed games, it seems like there might be a handful of good reasons for fans to keep an eye on this one!
Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends is a fighting game developed by Vicious Cycle. The title will initially feature characters from the first two films in the franchise, but when Kung Fu Panda 3 hits theaters in early 2016, new content will be added from the film! In addition to a full single player mode, Vicious Cycle also plans on including both local and online multiplayer modes. Outside of Super Smash Bros., we haven’t seen very many online fighting game options on Wii U, so this could help some fans scratch that itch!
Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends is expected to release on Wii U and 3DS this fall.
