Hyrule Warriors DLC Packs Announced for Japan

Get ready to release the villain within.

Koei Tecmo has announced the latest update for Hyrule Warriors, and detailed four upcoming DLC packs.

The update adds three of the game’s antagonists to the list of playable characters:  Cia, Volga, and Wizzro. It also includes a new feature in order to allow players to turn enemy introduction clips on or off.

The developer also revealed that the future DLC packs will include the following:

  • The “Backdoor” Hyrule Warriors pack: A new weapon, new scenario, an adventure map, and two costumes. Will release on October 16 for 1,200 yen (around $11).
  • Twilight Princess pack: A new character, a weapon, an adventure map, and two costumes. Will be released in November 2014 for 1,200 yen.
  • Majora’s Mask pack: Two new characters, an adventure map, and three costumes. Will be released in January 2015 for 1,200 yen.
  • Ganon pack: Two new game modes. Will be released in February 2015 for 500 yen. (around $4.60)

Anyone who reserved all four of these DLC packs starting September 30 will also get a free Dark Link Costume.

 

The prices for these packs will likely change on the game’s release in the west, so stay tuned for more information.

 

Hyrule Warriors is all set to be released on September 19 in Europe and September 26 in North America.
