Funko has given Pokémon fans a lot to celebrate over the last few months. Between their traditional line of Funko Pops and the monthly A Day With Pikachu line, the company has provided plenty of neat options to adorn the shelves of fans. The company has pulled back the curtain on two upcoming options, including the final Kanto starter: Squirtle!
The Squirtle announcement should come as little surprise given the previous releases of Bulbasaur and Charmander, but it’s still nice to see some confirmation. Funko is known for offering a plethora of Pop variants, which has already led to a number of Twitter users asking the company for a Squirtle Squad version. We’ll have to keep our fingers crossed!
Funko has also revealed their next A Day With Pikachu vinyl figure, as well. The August release, known as Splashing Away Summer, features Pikachu lounging on a Psyduck pool float! Interested fans should take note: these figures tend to sell out very fast, so you’ll want to keep an eye open for preorders in the next week or so!
