Whoa. Sorry, just trying to recover a modicum of composure after basking in the greatness of the Legacy Edition of Metroid: Samus Returns. The upcoming 3DS title is hotly anticipated, particularly because it has been seven years since the last adventure of Samus Aran. While North America will be able to celebrate Samus’s return (see what we did there?) with the Special Edition that was announced during E3 last week, European players have something much more luxurious to play around with. Here’s an image of what comes with Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition:
Here’s an English breakdown of what’s included:
- Steelbook Metroid II: Return of Samus-themed game box
- Soundtrack CD
- Artbook
- Copy of the game
- Metroid II: Return of Samus download code for 3DS

Yeah, if you’re thinking “that’s insane,” it is. It’s also glorious, wondrous, fantastical, and hopefully heading to North America along with the special edition. Sadly, there’s no word on whether or not the Legacy Edition will be coming to our continent, but we’ll keep you posted and let you know once way or the other once we do!
