It was a pleasant surprise when Capcom recently announced that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be coming to Nintendo Switch on April 23. The game dropped all the way back in 2012, but has seen a number of re-releases across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in the years since. Dragon’s Dogma also had a fair amount of DLC, which begged the question as to which of it would be coming along with Dark Arisen when it finally arrives on Switch. If a recent product listing by Amazon is to be believed, Dark Arisen will be bringing all previously released DLC along for the ride… but that’s not all.

The same listing asserts that Dark Arisen will be sold physically, not just digitally, which has been another question that fans have had about the game. What’s more, Dark Arisen‘s Pawn system, an online feature, allegedly won’t require a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. We say “allegedly” because there’s always a chance that Amazon’s product listing isn’t accurate— if we get official word from Capcom verifying this information we’ll update this article.
