Sad news, Disney Infinity fans: the cancelled 3.0 expansion would have included playsets based on Marvel’s Dr. Strange and Disney’s Moana. The Sorcerer Supreme and Disney’s new Hawaiian heroine were likely slated to arrive this fall, which would coincide with their respective films’ November release dates. You can view some renders and screens below.
Bear in mind these playsets don’t just place new characters in your game; they introduce new gameplay scenarios, so what you’re seeing in the second screenshot is from the Moana playset. What a shame we won’t see these properties come to life.
