For millions of masochistic Switch owners, May couldn’t come fast enough, because that’s when Dark Souls: Remastered was supposed to launch, thus making it that much easier to repeatedly die horrible deaths at the hands of horrendous monsters while on the go. Unfortunately, those gamers will have to wait a little longer to suffer their humiliating defeats.

Publisher Bandai Namco has announced the Switch version of the game has been pushed back to a somewhat nebulous “summer” release window. Nothing was said regarding a specific reason for the delay, however they did state it would result in an improved game.

In addition to the game being delayed, the release of the associated Solaire of Astora Amiibo has also been pushed back to summer. Hopefully we’ll have more specific information soon.
