For those of you looking for a new charging cradle for your Nintendo 3DS XL, you might want to save your pennies for a few days. That’s because Club Nintendo will have a bunch of new opportunities to charge your system in style next week with five new colored charge cradles. The cradles come in Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and White, and they’ll cost you 500 points apiece.

Super excited about (hopefully) grabbing one of these before the sell out. Would love the red, blue, or white cradle.
Don’t actually have a 3DS XL yet… but one of the detractors in upgrading hs been losing the convenience of a cradle for charging at night. Getting one for “free” through Club Nintendo is extremely appealing and could be the last push I need to do a holiday switch-over…
So disappointing!
After being out of country for a month and only arriving home hours before this went live, we found out that our ISP shut down service to our house during our absence. Sadly we weren’t able to get things fixed until Friday morning, and of course everything was sold out long before that time.
Hope other Nintendojo-ers who were looking forward to this prize had better luck. Guess I’ll satisfy myself with a t-shirt… or maybe just hold onto the coins for now and hope something cool comes up later.
