Ahead of their showdown later this month in Splatoon’s final Splatfest, the Squid Sisters Callie and Marie will be making a surprise appearance in another Wii U title: Super Mario Maker!
On July 8, the Inkling idols will be coming to Nintendo’s level editor as Mystery Mushroom costumes, which players can unlock by completing their corresponding Event Course. Like the recent Hello Kitty event, you’ll have to clear the level twice to unlock both costumes. You can take a sneak peek at their Event Course in the video below.
The Squid Sisters will also be receiving their own Amiibo on the same day their Event Course goes live, though it isn’t yet known if the figures will also unlock the Callie and Marie costumes.
