Bit.Trip Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is an amazing, amazing game. It’s one of the Wii U eShop’s best titles, and I gave it the highest possible score in my review of the game. Gaijin Games is giving us another reason to go back to Runner2‘s lush world with the new “Good Friends” Character Pack.
For just $3, a slew of new playable characters will be available. These new friends aren’t your run-of-the-mill runners, either. They’re characters from other critically acclaimed indie games! Here’s who is in the character pack:
- Raz from Psychonauts
- Quote from Cave Story
- Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy
- Josef from Machinarium
- Spelunker from Spelunky
- Invisible Commander Video
- Atlas from Portal 2 (Steam exclusive)
The Good Friends pack is out July 11 on Steam, with the Wii U DLC coming at some point. It’s only $3! Check out some of the character intros– narrated by Charles Martinet of course– below and on the Gaijin Games website links!
