We already learned that Ace Attorney 6 would introduce plenty of new things to the long running franchise: new faces, new gameplay mechanics, and even a new setting. Fans of the series will be happy to know that not everything will be brand new, because Apollo Justice will be joining Phoenix Wright in his latest legal adventures according to the latest issue of Famitsu.
The two attorneys, who have both starred in their own games, will share the spotlight this time around in a story that takes place both the familiar Japan, and the mysterious and magical Kurain Kingdom. The magazine also revealed that the new setting is home to a supposedly undefeated prosecutor, though Gaspen Payne, another prosecutor fans might recognize from the last entry, will apparently show up in the new setting as well.
A North American release for Ace Attorney 6 has already been announced, though nothing has been said about when to expect it. The Japanese version, however, has been confirmed for a 2016 release.
