Aksys has a long history of bringing niche Japanese games to the rest of the world, so Moco Moco Friends for 3DS seems like something right up the company’s alley. The star of the game is Moco Moco, a young girl looking to collect Plushkins (imagine Pokémon only cuter and stuffed animals), while gallivanting through a JRPG adventure. However, the super cute visuals aren’t the only thing to set this game apart within the monster collecting genre, because Aksys will be contributing proceeds from the game to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
While Aksys hasn’t given much in the way of specifics, such as amounts or a time frame of the promotion, the company did announce that a portion of what it makes from the game will be donated to the charity. For those unfamiliar with the Make-a-Wish foundation, it is a charity that helps make real the dreams and wishes of kids with serious, life-threatening illnesses.
So if you have a passion for training digital monsters and making kids happy, you might want to check out Moco Moco Friends when it releases in North America on November 17.
