The most coveted slot for TV advertising in the US is Super Bowl Sunday. It’s a day unlike any other where friends and family are gathered together watching the big show for both the game itself and the commercials that are wedged in-between. Nintendo is clearly keen to recreate the momentum that Pokémon Go gained last year by advertising during the Super Bowl, as Switch will be shown off during the big game, as well. Check out the trailer below:

Hopefully Switch will see a similar spike in interest following its Super Bowl commercial; considering the console is already seeing sellouts virtually everywhere, that would only be a further boon to the highly anticipated system launch. Will you be picking up a Switch on March 3? Have you already preordered? Let us know, below!

This commercial is scheduled to air during the fourth quarter. Let’s hope the Super Bowl isn’t a blowout so people are still engaged with the broadcast. The more exposure, the better!

I’m personally not a fan of the Patriots or Falcons. At least Nintendo can score a victory on Sunday!
