Video: Hudson Reveals Materialization in Lost in Shadow

Magical swords bestow magical powers upon their users. Everyone knows that. And apparently, even shadow boys are capable of using that magic for personal gain.

Hudson Entertainment released a new video for Lost in Shadow — an upcoming Wii platformer — that showcases the main character finding the Watchman’s Sword. The blade allows the boy to warp to the light, reality world in the foreground to manipulate objects that ultimately solve problems in the background. For example, the teaser illustrates the hero pushing a box forward in the light world to make a jump in the shadow world possible.

Along with the new trailer, Hudson finally set a firm release date for Lost in Shadow — Jan. 4, 2011.
