Last week, Nintendo shared the first of what will be a regular stream of new Breath of the Wild screenshots on the official Legend of Zelda Facebook page, and this week brings us another picturesque still from the upcoming game. This new screenshot depicts Link standing over a campfire in the snow-covered mountains of Hyrule– a fitting selection to coincide with the first day of winter. You can see the screenshot below.
Nintendo will be sharing more screenshots from Breath of the Wild up until the game’s release in 2017, so keep checking the series’ official Facebook page for more tantalizing glimpses at Link’s newest adventure.

I’m assuming all shots are from the Switch version.
I noticed Wii Us are gone/sold out everywhere as far as I could tell. Not that I’m in the market for another one, but I noticed major retailers had none in stock this past week. Then out of curiosity, I checked online: Looks like Best Buy, Walmart, Toys R Us, and Target are all sold out of Wii Us. Did Nintendo recall units rather than allow retailers to discount them?
The reason I bring this up: I’m wondering if Nintendo will scrap the Wii U version. I intend to play the Switch version anyway. However, it will seem weird for Nintendo to release a game for a “dead” system that’s not even available.
The “collector” in me is worried Nintendo will decide to produce a very limited run of Wii U versions and they’ll be crazy hard/expensive to obtain. I hope I’m way off on that.
