Dojo-Show-Go! Episode 86: Pikatrap (http://www.nintendojo.com/specials/view_item.php?1271306217)
Summary
Tidman, Andy, Noah and sometimes Greg spend an episode about Pokemon present and future-- HeartGold, SoulSilver, Twilight-- oops, Black and White. There are other games mentioned, too, but you wouldn't like Pikachu when he's angry.
You can send in feedback to showmail at nintendojo dot com or twitter.com/nintendojo (http://twitter.com/nintendojo)! Or you could just post it right here. We aren't picky.

Despite the good show, you get a FAIL! for mentioning that stupid vampire movie.

That's ok. You get a fail for thinking we were mentioning the movie and not the books. ;)

Guys, I think we all should get a fail for not mentioning the most obvious issue with Poke B/W. I looked up the problem why the characters are still sprites. It's not laziness on the part of te developer, or failure to take advantage of the DS/3DS hardware. It's SPACE! Space on the cartridge! None of us even thought of that! When I found that out, my hand went right to my forehead. We're just shy of 500 Pokemon now, pobably pushing upward to 550 to 600 by the end of B/W (after all the spin-offs, and this-weekend-only-at-Best-Buy Catches). The developer has to pull dozens of Pikachus out of hats to make it look as good as it is. And I don't think the quick screenshots last week were to overshadow the 3DS, but to suppliment it. They're whetting our appetite for E3. So have faith that the miraculous upgrades they promise will come.

I'm not a big fan of Pokymanz but if I were going to buy one it would be black, to go with black DS.

I've read all four of the books and seen all of the movies released so far. I lump the Twilight series into the same place that Percy Jackson & The Olympians, The Spiderwick Chronicles, and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books belong. They are all equally important contributions to American literature and it is shameful to dismiss them without having at least attempted to read them. I don't expect everyone to read every book, but I prefer people not diss books without having read them.
I think the Twilight series of books is decent, although I prefer books from authors like Raymond Chandler, or James Patterson. Honestly, the whole "anti-fandom" that arises when a franchise gets popular is annoying and stupid. When you get down to it, the Twilight Series of books is just as silly as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Batman, and other popular series. Seriously, Spider-Man is about a guy who gets bit by a bug, so he decides to fight crime. Batman is about a spoiled rich kid who never learned to cope with grief properly. Harry Potter is only significant because his parents were special. Star Wars is loaded with incest, and has plot holes big enough to drive a Death Star through.
There are people who may like the Twilight series and that's good for them. It's almost like people who are addicted to music games and will actually purchase something as silly as "Green Day Rock Band" even though that band has only had two good albums in their entire career. ;-)
