Namco Bandai generously gave us an extra copy of Active Life: Extreme Challenge, which we're going to give away to one of our lucky readers. This isn't just any ol' Wii game: it comes bundled with a floor mat controller like the glorious Power Pad for NES, except much newer and fresher.
How do make yourself eligible for this sweet bundle? Write a story in this thread about why you deserve the game: either a story that shows your EXTREME-ness, or a story detailing your extreme need for a death defying fitness program a la Wii. Your story must be posted in this thread by Sunday September 13, 10 PM Mountain Time. The author of the best story will be contacted via Private Message to confirm selection and mailing address, and we'll let everyone know who we selected on Tuesday September 15.

Here's my story about why I need this game.
My life is boring. Pure and simple, there is very little excitement in my life. I look on from the shadows of life as other people go on adventures. Locked away in my cold lonely room, I peer out my window and see people conversing about their life changing experiences. I sit silently and watch TV, hearing and seeing billions and billions of brave people fulfill their extreme dreams and fantasies, and wish to be like them.
Why don’t I grant this wish of mine you ask? Well, unlike the popular song; I do fear the Reaper. The empty stare and cold touch of the Grim Reaper haunts my every thought, causing me to worry that any action too extreme may yield my last moments on this mortal coil. This fear has kept me separate from my friends as they partake in various activities like white water rafting and parasailing. If only there was some game I could play that could show me that these extreme challenges are nothing to fear.
And that my friends, is where Namco Bandai’s Active Life Extreme Challenge comes in. The multiple events that are included in the game could help me ease into the extreme lifestyle. By playing this game, my eyes could be opened to see that these extreme challenges may not be as horrifying as I think they could be, and may rid me of the specter of Death that haunts my mind. I would be free of the shackles of fear and join the rest of the world in some brave new adventure. That is why I need this game.
I hoped you enjoyed my little story and I wish everyone else the best of luck.

I believe my family deserves Active Life: Extreme Challenge. I have many fond memories of the first powerpad for the NES. I remember my sister and I would spend literly hours playing World Class Track Meet. My sister and I was so extreme with World Class Track Meet that we would have day long tourments trying to beat each others high scores. Keep in mind at the time I was about 12 years old and my sister was 11 years old. Now imagine how much more extreem we could be at the age of 28! Now my sister, brother-in-law, and wife can get together to have weekend long tournaments climbing the walls of the Grand Canyon, jumping off skyscrapers, and busting out MAD Double Dutch skills on a graffitti'd city street!
Thanks for the opportunity! :)

Here's my story.
In my life I've done many extreme things in my life. I've gone Wakeboarding, Rock Climbing and I'm hoping to try Sky Surfing soon. I also love snowboarding down the steep slopes of Mt. Rainier, which is only about a one hour drive from our small winter cabin. There's nothing like waking up early in the morning and wondering what the day will bring.
But my problem is, I can't keep living my life this way. I have an amazing wife, and a beautiful eight year old daughter who live far downtown. My wife is a stay at home mom, while I work two desk jobs during the day. Between work and my extreme sports, I only get to see my wife and daughter roughly twice a week.
I would easily stop my extreme sporting to stay closer to my family, but sporting seems to be the only thing that helps me fill the empty void in my life. Which is why I need Namco Bandai’s Active Life Extreme Challenge. With it, I can come home and spend quality time with my daughter while still being able to fulfill my extreme needs. Which is why Active Life seems to be the perfect fit for my dire problem.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story!
