Issue 27: March of the Minions

Goomba! Squish.

Octorok! Thwack.

Unnamed Soldier #278! Bang.

How many of those little grunts have you beat down without prejudice in all your time gaming? Thousands? Millions? So long as they keep coming at us in droves, that number’s going to get higher.

Yet what of these henchmen, under-villains and down-trodden? Surely they have families, too. Aspirations, homes, something better to do than blindly march forward– at least when they’re off the clock and microwaving a TV dinner.

Intrigued by the prospect of exploring these underlings’ dreams we came up with a set of stories to look at why we love them and what they might do or dream of in their off-time.

Enjoy,
Noah
