    Greg Wampler says...

I hope they don’t add an HDD. I want flash memory. Especially with the potential for how much this thing will be moving around, what with the gyro and motion sensors. The potential for a hard drive crashing is too high.

I do realize that for everything for download will mean more memory will be needed and flash is more expensive, so I don’t know. I’ll be fine with 1 or 2GB of flash at first and then as long as they allow for SDHC cards (32 GB at most), I’ll be good to go. I kind of wish that they would future proof it a bit right out of the gate and allow for the newest SDXC cards (potential for 2 TB cards). Memory prices fall quick, so this would come in handy later, but I realize they could just update the firmware later on.

Either way, just keep the 3DS cheap with little memory and allow for expansion memory.
