Conduit 2 Receives Another Delay
Agent Ford may know how to shoot a gun, but he doesn’t know how to show up on time. According to IGN, Sega has pushed back the release date for Conduit 2 again. The title will not hit retail until March 22. IGN says that Sega gave no reason for the delay.
Conduit 2 was originally supposed to come out in late 2010, before being delayed into 2011. High Voltage promises to fix a lot of players’ complaints from the first title with the upcoming sequel, including online patches, headset voice chat, a new online co-op feature called Invasion Mode, and weapon load-outs.

Nintendo Names 3DS Download Store; Shop Not Available At System’s Launch
Nintendo 3DS features the ability for owners to purchase online games, including retro games for Game Boy and Game Boy Color. This is familiar to Wii owners and known as the Virtual Console. With 3DS, the company has rebranded the download shop as eShop. A couple of new features for the channel include game demo downloads, customer reviews, and a cash-based system — though the new economy format may be very similar to Nintendo Points.
eShop also allows DSi and DSi XL owners to transfer their DSiWare titles to a 3DS. The DSiWare Shop will be included in eShop, too, giving 3DS owners a chance to check out the numerous titles available for the service. But there is a catch, at least initially. According to Wired’s Game|Life, eShop will not be online when 3DS launches in North America on March 27. Nintendo did not provide a date or timeframe for when the service would go live.

THQ Supports 3DS, But No Launch Titles
THQ fully supports Nintendo 3DS, according to the company’s executive vice president of core games, Danny Bilson. In an interview with Eurogamer, Bilson said that while THQ will not have any games at launch for the system, “we have some stuff we’ve greenlit on 3DS.” Bilson added that the system’s “really cool.”
After the unveiling of 3DS at E3 2010, Nintendo released a full list of games in development for the handheld system. On that list, THQ had the following titles in the works (according to Joystiq):
- de Blob 2
- Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom
- Marvel Super Hero Squad
- Infinity Gauntlet
- The Penguins of Madagascar
- Puss N Boots
- Saints Row: Drive-By
There has been no status updates regarding these titles, but THQ will most likely unveil more in the upcoming months.
