7) “X used Y. It’s Super Effective!” from Pokémon series
Pokémon is a breeding ground (pardon the pun) for memes. Extremely quotable, popular, and a staple of many gamers’ childhoods/early adolescence, it’s only natural that you would have a handful of memes for this franchise. My pick for the best is a simple one that has spanned the series. I’m talking about the Super Effective. Basically anytime a Pokémon attacks another in which they have a type advantage, it’s always super effective.
You’d be surprised at how useful this joke is when you’re watching sports or anything in particular. You can always find the Pokémon fans by just saying “X used homerun. It is super effective.” even if it may warrant you get some confused stares by the non-fans. Sometimes, it can be worth it dropping a Pokémon reference just for those stares.

Also, Zero Wing is not a Nintendo game and never appeared on any of Nintendo’s consoles.
I always quote #7. It is so much fun seeing the reactions. I usally get #3 thrown back at me by someone.
