Top Ten: Best (And Worst) Nintendo Vacation Spots

There are places that you should visit, and others that you should stay away from.

5th Place, Holiday Hell — Your Town in Animal Crossing

You’d be forgiven for thinking that Tom Nook was less tanuki and more of a (loan) shark, sometimes.

The towns found in the Animal Crossing series seem innocent enough. Yet I would warn visitors to stay away. My unease would set in after being practically interrogated in the train/cab/bus. Some people just really need to learn to mind their own business and let others travel in peace. And it’s clear that Copper and Booker’s visitor policy isn’t very lenient. People can’t go in or out of the gate without proof of where they’re going or where they came from, and I don’t think that it’s possible to scale the wall that surrounds the rest of the town. They literally trap you so that you can’t leave before unintentionally buying a house (which is the size of a closet) from Tom Nook, thus being forced into both indentured servitude and debt. And honestly, I would probably panic if the first person that I talked to anywhere was a pelican.

skyloft and delfino island are good vacation spots, skyloft tops delfino because, well, its a freaking floating paradise, imagine the view of the cascade falling into the sky, wow, and termina is the worst place to be, everything about that place is just, scary and weird.

I’d still like to visit Termina the most. With the Ocarina of Time, your vacation there could literally last forever!

And I’m sad to see no mention of Wuhu Island (though I agree with Isle Delfino being number one; I always thought it was the best part of Mario Sunshine). :p
