6. Forbidden Land Eureka

Final Fantasy III

It’s possible to go the entire game without ever hearing this piece of music, as the so-called “Forbidden Land Eureka” is, in fact, a small sub-world contained in the basement of the Crystal Tower right at the end of the game. You need the Eureka Key to get in there, but inside there’s some sweet loot and equipment to be found to make the final fight against Xande and the Cloud of Darkness just that little bit easier. It also provided a useful grinding ground if your party was a little under-powered, but when there’s such great music to listen to, who wants it constantly interrupted by random encounters?
