7) Mega Charizard X
First Appearance: Pokémon X (Nintendo 3DS, 2013)
This is sort of a catch (’em) all for the various Mega Evolution versions of Pokémon springing up lately, but it seems safe to say that Mega Charizard X is the face of the new game mechanic. And what a face it is! Between the black skin and blue flames, Mega Charizard X is a fierce looking beast. Charizard was already one of the more iconic Pocket Monsters, so it was brilliant of Game Freak to keep the character relevant with this upgrade.
