The Home-run Bat is godly. It hits hard in close quarters, as expected, and it’s incredibly powerful when thrown, making its wielder a dangerous threat anywhere in the stage. None of that matters in comparison to the Home-run Bat’s unique smash attack. Landing a home-run attack is unbelievably satisfying. The satisfaction you get from hitting a home-run is so amazing that the slow wind up doesn’t really matter. Once you pick up the Home-run Bat, your only goal is to create an opening to land that home-run attack. More than the Hammer and more than the Smash Ball, the Home-run Bat changes your mindset of the game.
On top of all that, you have the Home-run Contest, perhaps the most intricate and demanding mini game ever designed. For ten seconds, you have a chance to execute a perfect combo followed by a home-run hit to send a sand bag flying. Your goal here is the scoreboard, arcade style.
