Our Top Video Game Tunes
Suggested by Nintendojo Staff.
We’ve all got our favourite video game ditties here at Nintendojo, so here’s Part I of the tunes we can’t stop humming!
From the toe-tapping beats of a Game Boy, Maurice also has one for those with wives and girlfriends. The trials and tribulations of having a gamer for a partner!
I’ve just finished playing Solatorobo: The Red Hunter and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and I can’t stop listening to these tracks!
Now we don’t actually have any videos to show you here, but if you like Metroid and you like heavy metal music, then Metroid Metal is the place for you. Created by Grant Henry, better known as Stemage in MySpace circles, Metroid Metal started out as just a metal cover of the NES soundtrack. But as Stemage writes on their website, “LOWER NORFAIR WAS JUST TOO GOOD TO NOT DESTROY!” so they ended up doing a bunch of other Metroid tracks too. All the songs are free to download, so get clicking would-be-metal-music-bounty-hunters, and happy listening!
And now for something completely different:
great guys, what a cool compilation of nintendo stuff, the mario beatbox, and the gameboy music are amazing.
The conference by Jane Mc Gonigal has a lot of sense, that story of the origin of games is very interesting. The zelda comic was very moving, i really like the dialogues, a zelda game with that kind of maturity would be awesome.
