Acclaim definitely has an uphill battle on its hands with its football franchise. Not only are they running with Madden but now that Sega's strategy has changed over you can expect NFL 2K2 to make an appearance as well. With that in mind, there's no way that Acclaim can get by with an average version of QBC. They know it and you know it.

Like all of the newest sports installements you can expect updated rosters, graphics, AI, gameplay control and more. The great thing about this year's build is that the game will feature actual quarterback challenges! You'll be able to run combines, throw for accuracy and more. This is a great mini game aspect to the game.

In addition, Acclaim has hired a former member of the Madden team to tear down the title and rebuild it again with some of the Madden philosophy's to football gaming. Great AI and solid control.

From the very brief time that I managed to see that game at E3 it seems that Acclaim knows they have to make great strides in the fluidity of the title and the AI. Both of these elements are difficult to judge with such a short showing. So suffice it to say that we'll keep an eye on this title's progress.
