Hands-on Impressions In the 40% complete build presented by Natsume at E3, the realistic springtime world was already looking quite beautiful and promising, even despite the numerous graphical glitches. I was able to run around in the small farming community, able to walk into a couple of buildings and talk with a few of what will number over 40 characters, but still not able to do any farm work. According to Graham Markay from Natsume, players of the final version will be able to live through 30 years of life on the farm, divided into 6 chapters of life. As such, characters will grow and age with the flow of time, and this change to the timeline had necessitated making the seasons shorter and the days longer. Nintendo will be distributing the game in Japan this July. Connecting to the simultaneously released GameBoy Advance title Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, players will be able to open up events and stories that add a new dimension to the stand-alone games. From The Horse's Mouth You’ve saved your family’s farm and you’ve saved your homeland…now it’s time to live your life! An all-new Harvest Moon adventure is coming to the Nintendo GameCube in 2003! Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life will span a lifetime on the farm and follow the drama that goes with it. Not only must you build and successfully run a farm, but you must also build a successful life with family and friends! This new Harvest Moon experience will take the best qualities of the series and add more…more animals, more vegetables and more drama! What sort of life will you live?
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life's "Forget-me-not Valley" and Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town's "Mineral Town" are a world apart from one another...by using the link cable, these two towns can become connected! Villagers can travel back and forth, new exclusive events occur and many new surprises will happen! media impressions word on the street press release notes overall |
