King Koopa Passes Away at Age 74

Okay, so maybe King Koopa (who we now know as Bowser) from the gaming universe is alive and well, but the King Koopa from the Super Mario Bros. movie hasn't fared as well. Dennis Hopper, who portrayed King Koopa in the movie, passed away yesterday at the age of 74 due to prostate cancer. Hopper played many unconventional, yet great roles in his career. Hate it or love it, he brought Koopa to the big screen with just the right amount of control, evil and fun. I say we all pop in the Mario Bros. movie at least one last time to pay our respects. Maybe this time we can try and pick out the good things about the movie. The imagination, perhaps?
