Rumor: 3DS to Have One Standard 4:3 Screen and One 16:9 Widescreen Greg Wampler 5/18/2010, 2:57am Eastern Time A certain website by name of Goonlinegames.net has supposedly come across a leaked photo of the main motherboard to the non-final named 3DS. In this image is a picture of two screens. Not much difference from what we currently have on DS now, except that one screen is a 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen. The other is a normal, 4:3 aspect ratio. This, at least to me, seems like a weird move by Nintendo, if real. When playing games that take advantage of both screens for displaying cutscenes and using both for a bigger gameplay area, like Spirit Tracks, how would that work? Even if new games could be designed to at least make it work decently, older backwards compatible games may take a hit. We'll just have to wait and see at E3 Source: Goonlinegames.net Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'nindojo1'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/nindojo1/public_html/archives/nims/item_io.lib on line 319 Warning: mysql_close(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/nindojo1/public_html/archives/nims/item_io.lib on line 434
