We've confirmed with Capcom that the title will not only support play via the Wii Remote being held sideways, but it will also be compatible with the Wii's Classic Controller or controllers plugged in the GameCube ports. Therefore, enterprising individuals who own or purchase a Wii NES RetroPort could play Mega Man 9 with original NES controllers, making the 1980s game experience complete.
