The European release date and price for Wii might have been leaked...but probably not.

European trade publication MCV stated today that Nintendo's new console will release "shortly before November 24," and that the price would be set at 149 pounds sterling, which is somewhat less than most estimates.

However, David Yarnton of Nintendo UK quickly shot down the rumors. However, he did have one interesting statement to give. "They're not far off, but they're definitely not right," Yarnton said.

It's very likely that the official price and date will be announced at a press event Nintendo is holding in London next week, which will coincide with similar conferences in New York and Japan.
