Harrison Talks Twilight Princess, Virtual Console
Aaron Roberts 8/16/2006, 7:53pm Eastern Time

If you're playing the Wii version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, then you're going to have to use the Wii controller.

That's what Nintendo VP George Harrison reportedly said in a Camp Hyrule chat session this week. Anyone who wishes to play Twilight Princess with the GameCube controller is going to have to purchase the GameCube version of the game.

In addition, Harrison also hinted that original content was on the way for the Virtual Console, and that Nintendo itself would be developing new software for the online service. However, he affirmed that Nintendo was concentrating right now on the launch of the console itself and that any new information on Wii or the Virtual Console would have to wait.

Hopefully, answers will be forthcoming from Nintendo August 23 at the Games Conference in Leipzig, Germany.
