Last week, we reported that some Wii details might be unveiled at the Games Convention in Leipzig, and that seems even more likely now.

The Games Convention official website has listed its schedule for August 23rd, which features a prominent Nintendo keynote entitled "Wii Prove Our Promise." The presentation is scheduled for 10:15-11:15 a.m. Leipzig time.

Nintendo has announced that all details regarding the Wii launch will be known by September, so the possibility of an August 23 announcement would certainly fulfill those conditions.
