Nintendo fan site, Nintendo Now, is reporting that at the San Diego Comic-Con last week, a source close to Nintendo in unnamed ways said there is a "strong possibility" that Nintendo plans to announce a plethora of Wii information at the Leipzig Game Convention during the latter days of August.

The source also stated that there is a strong possibility of Nintendo holding its own pre-launch show to demonstrate Wii games and also announce other information.

The source told Nintendo Now that the information provided is not, by any means, final. While this may be a rumor of sorts, it is entirely possible that Nintendo will announce some information at Leipzig, but whether that information will be price and release date is still yet to be seen.

There is still much more to reveal and announce besides the price and date, so Leipzig would be a great opportunity to do so. We'll keep you posted.
