Updated: GoldenEye For The DS Announced With New Factoids William Jacques 8/26/2004, 8:08pm Eastern Time Update: While requesting a comment from an Electronic Arts representative, we were told the following: "We don't comment on rumors and this is a rumor." The only official news that has been announced is that there is a GoldenEye title in development for the Nintendo DS. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for all of your official news sources. Fellow Nintendo fansite Nintendo-Evolved has revealed a wealth of information related to the GoldenEye game in development exclusively for the Nintendo DS, by Electronic Arts (and presumably Nintendo as well). Though a port (of sorts) of the Nintendo 64 classic, Goldenye DS will sport several enhancements, including the ability for up to 16 players to join in on the action via the DS's wi-fi capabilities. It may even be going online, so you can play your friend on the other side of the country. The game will naturally feel and look similar to its Nintendo 64 kin. More as it breaks.
